Bob Bordone is a Professor at Harvard Law School and the founder of the Harvard Law School Negotiation and Mediation Clinical Program, which he has directed for more than a decade. A leading researcher and educator on negotiation and conflict resolution, Bordone’s work focuses on developing methods for more effective public dialogue and conflict management, especially in sensitive, emotional, or difficult situations.

In addition to his coursework at Harvard Law School, Bordone works directly with organizations around the world, helping executives, government leaders, healthcare professionals, and diplomats navigate the challenges of communication and consensus building during a time of increased political and cultural polarization.

Bordone is the co-author of multiple textbooks, including the recently released Designing Systems and Processes for Managing Disputes (Wolters-Kluwer 2019). His writing has appeared in numerous academic and broadcast media outlets, including The Boston Globe, The Los Angeles Times, The Chicago Tribune, The Washington Post, and CNN. He serves in a variety of leadership positions at Harvard Law School and is on the Board of Directors of Seeds of Peace and the Board of Advisors for the Center for Empathy in International Relations.

Bordone graduated summa cum laude from Dartmouth College and cum laude from Harvard Law School.
