John Beck, President of the North Star Leadership Group, has created attention-getting, profit-building perspectives for some of the most successful companies in the world, on subjects. A summa cum laude graduate of Harvard and the first person to complete its integrative Ph.D. in business, John has lived and worked throughout Asia, consulting to leaders on both sides of the Pacific. His expertise spans a broad range of topics from wireless and e-commerce to globalization and video games. Other topics include: the process of globalization at the top companies in the world; the Asian Financial Crisis; economic development in emerging economies; global team building; and large scale change and integration, which he coined as the Change Cycle.

He also co-authored Japan's Business Renaissance: How the World's Greatest Economy Revived, Renewed, and Reinvented Itself (2005) with Mark Fuller.
Previously, John was Associate Partner and Senior Research Fellow at the Accenture Institute for Strategic Change and the Far East Advisor for The Monitor Group. He has developed and taught courses in leadership, media, multinational management, ecommerce, multinational management, strategy, group psychology, organizational behavior, and management in emerging economies at Harvard University, USC, UCLA, University of Western Ontario and Thunderbird Graduate School of International Management.
